  Notes	Bill joined the Army in 1946 and served his enlistment in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Returning to Ohio he studied at Ohio State, gained employment at General Electric, and met his future wife, Marie Tallent. They were married in April of 1953 and Bill continued to work and attend college at night. In 1965 Bill graduated from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in Math and Physics. As Bill's family grew, he continued to work as an aeronautical engineer for General Electric in Cincinnati, transferring to San Diego in 1966 after a short project in Oklahoma City. After over 40 years of marriage Marie died in 1995. Bill was fortunate in finding love a second time with Irene Blid. They were married in 1997 and enjoyed traveling the world for over 10 years before Irene pased away in 2008. Bill had served in the Jaycees, been highly recognized by the Boy Scouts of America and continued his public service tutoring Math at a local junior high school up to the day of his passing.
